5G Broadcasting: Direct to Mobile

LPTV IS FULL COVERAGE

LPTV might be labeled Low Power, but make no mistake, LPTV is full coverage in the U.S.

Of the 7,120 licensed broadcast television stations, 5,374 or 75% are Low Power. Full power stations cover the majority of the US population, but not the rural areas. LPTV covers all, from major cities to America’s small towns. Rural America is very much a part of the plan.

In the US, UHF LPTV stations are currently restricted to an ERP of 15kw.

LPTV power and height are better suited to 5G than are full power stations; the potential of SFN’s and the fact that collectively LPTV’s cover the nation.

LPTV Serves the Public Interest Across the U.S.

LPTV is 5G is uniquely positioned to deliver reliable coverage across the entire nation. Plain and simple. Broadcast 5G for all, not just the big cities.

5G Broadcasting allows LPTV stations to provide live programming as well as essential services for first responders, from public alerts to encrypted information. This is truly in the public interest and serves the public interest.

Working together with the LPTV Broadcasters Association, XGen Network is bringing the future to LPTV.
